Arctic Wolf expands AI security platform

Cybersecurity firm Arctic Wolf has announced updates to its Aurora Agentic SOC and Aurora Superintelligence Platform, saying the platforms are designed to provide AI-powered security operations without the cost and complexity of building an in-house agentic security system.

A key part of the announcement is the introduction of Mean Time to Trusted Action (MTTA), a new metric that measures how quickly organisations receive guidance they can act on. 

Arctic Wolf said MTTA is designed to provide customers with information about what happened, what it means and what action to take through a single alert, rather than multiple notifications. The company added MTTA is intended to complement existing industry measures such as Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Respond (MTTR).

“For too long, security teams have had to choose between scale or affordability, speed or trust. We built the Aurora Agentic SOC to eliminate those trade-offs,” Arctic Wolf Technology and Services President Dan Schiappa said.

“Bringing scale, value, trust, and speed together in a single platform is exactly what this moment in cybersecurity demands, and it’s what lets our customers act with confidence no matter how fast the threat landscape evolves.”

The company also outlined milestone updates for its Swarm of Experts architecture, which coordinates multiple AI agents to investigate and analyse security events before escalating more complex cases to human analysts where required.

Arctic Wolf boasted how Swarm of Experts autonomously resolves more than 60% of security cases handled by the platform. 

The company also released updated operational figures for the Aurora Agentic SOC, saying its underlying Aurora Superintelligence Platform now processes more than 10 trillion security events each week, conducts more than 200,000 investigations weekly and has resolved more than three million security cases since its launch at RSA Conference 2026.

Arctic Wolf said the Aurora Agentic SOC completes investigations in as little as 12 seconds, while cases requiring collaboration between AI and human analysts receive remediation guidance in an average of 7.2 minutes. The company also reported customers are resolving cases 26 per cent faster than a year ago.

Alongside the platform updates, Arctic Wolf announced enhancements to its customer portal, including simplified navigation, expanded visibility into security activity and additional analytics capabilities.

The company said the portal enhancements will be introduced through a phased rollout.
