Sage has unveiled new AI-powered capabilities within its Sage Intacct Advisory offering, aimed at helping accounting firms deliver more consistent and scalable advisory services to growing businesses.
The update builds on the existing Sage Intacct Accountants Program, by introducing a more structured, service-led approach using AI-powered workflows, industry-specific templates and new tools designed to streamline client onboarding and service delivery.
These enhancements should help firms manage multiple client environments more efficiently, reduce manual processes and scale advisory services without increasing overhead. Itโs also expected to help firms onboard clients faster through standardised industry templates and data migration tools.ย ย
โAccounting firms are being asked to do more than ever before: deliver deeper insights, meet rising compliance demands and do it all with less access to talent,โ said Gretchen OโHara, Sage Strategic Partnership and Business Development EVP.ย
โWith Sage Intacct Advisory, firms can standardise delivery, reduce manual work, and spend more time where they add the greatest value – helping clients make smarter strategic decisions.โ
Built on the Sage Intacct platform, the enhancements are positioned to improve operational efficiency for accounting firms, increase margins and provide more timely and accurate financial insights to clients.
CLA Digital Principle Keven Truhler said businesses are increasingly expecting more strategic input from their finance partners.
โPrograms like Sage Intacct Advisory help firms structure and scale those services across a diverse client base while maintaining efficiency,โ he said.
โThat allows us to deliver more impactful advice and better support organizations as they grow.โ
Helping Sage’s partners
The expansion of Sage Intacct Advisory forms part of Sage’s broader investment in partner enablement, with a focus on helping firms strengthen client relationships and support businesses at different stages of growth.
Sage also announced a new agentic AI-powered delivery model for Sage Intacct implementation, developed in partnership with PwC, aimed at helping finance teams get up and running faster.
The initiative combines Sageโs financial management platform with PwCโs delivery expertise and a more automated, repeatable model. Sage said the approach is designed to help customers move more quickly from project kick-off to realising value, while improving implementation quality and easing pressure on internal teams
โBusinesses donโt just need new technology, they need a straightforward way to get started and see the benefits,โ OโHara said.
โBy working closely with PwC, we are reimagining how Sage Intacct is delivered in practice, using AI to reduce friction and help customers get up and running more quickly and with confidence.โ
