Sage and cloud-native construction management platform firm Tractics have teamed up to deliver cloud-based financial management and heavy civil operations software for heavy civil contractors.
Under the new partnership, the pair will deliver seamless integration between Sage Intacct Construction and Tractics.
“This partnership brings together Sage’s industry-leading construction financial management solution and decades of innovation in construction technology with Tractics’ expertise in field, fleet, and project operations to deliver the best in accounting and operations software,” said Sage Construction and Real Estate Senior Vice President Julie Adams.
“Together, we provide the heavy civil market with a powerful and data-rich platform to seamlessly manage their entire business from the field to the office.”
According to Sage, the integration will provide centralised visibility into construction operations via a single platform: field apps for foremen and crew so timesheets are updated in real-time; access to critical real-time data anytime, anywhere for fleet managers, dispatchers and back-office staff. All of which means they can simplify operations and keep teams working in sync.
Additionally, the company said the integration of Sage Intacct Construction with Tractics will also deliver customisable financial reporting and dashboards; dimensional general ledger and multi-entity consolidation; and automation working-in-progress management.
Tractics CEO Tyler VanWinkle said the move is expected to help heavy civil contractors run their businesses more efficiently.

The integration is now available for new and existing Sage and Tractics customers.
The move by the two firms comes at a time when the construction technology sector continues to grow. As pointed out by Deloitte, this can be attributed to the uptake of artificial intelligence and advanced computing continuing to increase, and as data centre construction gains steam.
