Acer Africa is calling for the continent’s most innovative educators to enter the Schoolscape Innovator of the Year Competition 2025 – and potentially win an all-expenses trip to BETT UK 2026 in London.
“We are honoured to sponsor the Schoolscape Innovator of the Year Award,” said Glenn du Toit, Country Manager at Acer Africa. “We are thrilled to offer this incredible opportunity to a deserving educator, providing them with global exposure to the latest trends and innovations in EdTech.”
To enter, educators must have entered one of the 2025 Schoolscape events and submit a short video explaining how they use innovative technology in their school.
Full details are on the Schoolscape website and entries close on 31 July 2025.
What are Schoolscape events?
Schoolscape events aim to connect school leaders and education departments with education companies, such as Acer. Upcoming events include Schoolscape Kenya, on 2 October 2025, and a Technology Roadshow during August 2025.
July’s event has already happened: Schoolscape Zimbabwe in Harare on 3 July.
“The openness to exploring new teaching methods, from integrating digital tools to adopting learner-centred approaches, truly stood out,” said attendee Thabo Ramokotjo, Events Co-ordinator at Acer Africa.
“It’s clear that technology is no longer a ‘nice-to-have’ but an essential component that empowers both teachers and students to reach their full potential.”
According to Acer Africa: “The discussions at Schoolscape Zimbabwe reinforced the growing recognition that technology is fundamental to reimagining learning and addressing the evolving needs of todayโs students in Africa. Acer Africa remains committed to fostering collaboration, innovation, and lifelong learning within the education sector.”
