Workato launches Workato Go to improve AI tool connections

Workato has launched Workato Go, an AI-powered platform designed to help businesses get more value out of their AI investments by connecting tools, streamlining work, and automating everyday tasks.

“Workato Go is the new starting point for work,” said Bhaskar Roy, Workato AI Products and Solutions Head.

“It’s a super app where people and agents come together to get work done across all your apps, data, and processes.”

Built on Workato Go, Workato One has been designed to deliver three main capabilities. The first is enterprise search, which allows users to search their enterprise apps, data and processes, as well as real-time internet data in an all-in-one search experience. The second feature, employee assistant, automates routine tasks and proactively surfaces notifications and to-dos.

Workato Go also features a capability called Deep Action, which can orchestrate AI agents across 10,000 apps and data connectors to complete complex workflows that span multiple systems, teams, data sources, and steps.

Workato CTO Adam Seligman said the platform is aimed at solving a growing problem that enterprises are experiencing. He said that while many organisations are deploying AI agents and automation tools, users often remain “lost in search and lost in SaaS and lost in Slack”.

“They were kind of wandering around trying to find the things they needed, trying to take advantage of these agents, but not really having one place to go,” he said.

He said that, unlike simple chatbots, Workato Go can help users “take deep action”.

“The agents are wired to every workflow and process in your system, and with security and role-appropriate access, can drive action on the user’s behalf and drive it to closure,” Seligman said.

“We’re incredibly excited to get this innovation out. We’re on this journey together, and it’s been exciting to watch this evolution of LLMs and these tools … that we use, and this really exciting future of trades, and that is where the agents are actually skilled expert workers to assist you to do your job and start to do more and more of them autonomously.”
