CrowdStrike appoints Roland Stritt to lead European expansion

CrowdStrike has announced the appointment of industry veteran Roland Stritt as Europe alliances vice president.

The former SentinelOne, Rubrik, and Palo Alto Networks executive will lead CrowdStrike’s European alliances strategy, including accelerating partner-led growth and expanding into new markets.

“The next era of cybersecurity growth will be won through the strength of the ecosystem and the ability to execute across every route to market,” Crowdstrike global alliances senior VP Amanda Adams said.

“Roland has spent decades building and leading high-performing partner organizations across Europe. He knows how to turn ecosystem strategy into market execution at scale. As CrowdStrike accelerates Falcon platform adoption across Europe, Roland brings the leadership and commercial expertise to drive our next phase of growth.”

Stritt was most recently chief revenue officer at FAST LTA, overseeing commercial strategy, sales, and marketing for the Munich-based company. He believes there’s enormous growth opportunity for CrowdStrike in Europe.

“Europe’s cybersecurity market is at an inflection point, and partners have an enormous opportunity to lead what’s next,” he said.

“CrowdStrike has the platform, innovation, and ecosystem to help partners build and scale their businesses to levels they’ve never seen before. My focus is on expanding that opportunity across Europe, from securing AI and transforming the SOC to accelerating platform consolidation and managed services growth.”

Extending Deloitte Spain partnership for AI-powered risk advisory

Stritt’s appointment comes as CrowdStrike announces that its partnership with Deloitte Spain on AI-powered risk advisory has been extended.

“Cybersecurity has become a strategic business imperative, requiring organizations to connect risk management, technology, and business priorities,” Deloitte Spain cybersecurity partner Edward James Moore said.

“Expanding our collaboration with CrowdStrike into risk advisory helps clients move beyond point solutions, combining strategic risk insight with AI-native technology to make informed security investments and carry those priorities through implementation and ongoing operations.”

The pair will continue to use Falcon IQ, CrowdStrike’s agentic cybersecurity platform that was launched in August, to help clients identify and prioritise risks, implement modern security operations, and deliver an AI-native managed security.

“Finding risk is only half the battle. What matters is how quickly you can act on it and evolve strategy for the future,” CrowdStrike chief business officer Daniel Bernard said.

“Falcon IQ brings AI-powered risk intelligence into Deloitte’s advisory engagements, connecting what matters in the boardroom with what needs to happen in the SOC. Together, we’re helping enterprises move from finding to fixing, turning security priorities into action and long-term winning strategies.”

Expanding project QuiltWorks across Europe

Additionally, CrowdStrike has announced the expansion of Project QuiltWorks across Europe.

The company said Almaviva Group, Atos, BT, Computacenter, Deutsche Telekom Security, Grant Thornton UK, iiTD, Intrinsec, Kudelski Security, Orange Cyberdefense, Serviceware, Stoïk, Strong-IT, Telefónica, and TIM AG are joining Project QuiltWorks.

Project QuiltWorks is a cybersecurity coalition that aims to address security risks and vulnerabilities associated with frontier AI models
