TechFinitive Awards 2026 – Digital Transformation Project of the Year
The Digital Transformation Project of the Year category at the TechFinitive Awards 2026 recognises projects that go beyond modernising technology for its own sake, delivering measurable improvements to how organisations operate. This year’s five finalists have tackled challenges ranging from AI adoption and cloud migration to enterprise resource planning and the consolidation of fragmented systems. What unites them is a clear focus on business outcomes, whether that means giving employees time back, improving return on investment or making complex operations easier to manage.
From deploying AI across an entire workforce to executing a major ERP migration in just 72 hours, each project demonstrates how thoughtful planning and effective implementation can translate ambitious technology programmes into tangible business benefits. You can read more about what our judges had to say about each submission here (scroll below).
Without further ado, the nominees for Digital Transformation Project of the Year in 2026 are:
- ANS (Microsoft Copilot 365 rollout)
- Infosys Limited (OmniHub Cloud Migration Program)
- Sigmoid (Streamvector Technology Pvt Ltd)
- SNP UK (S/4 migration for Diageo)
- Valiantys (The Automobile Association (AA) digital transformation)

Here’s what our judges had to say about the nominees
ANS: Microsoft Copilot 365 rollout
This is the way that organisations should implement AI: with plenty of planning, board backing (and accountability), buy-in from the employees and clear line-of-business improvements at the end. We’ve heard from too many Microsoft 365 Copilot rollouts that have been tentative, half-hearted almost, but here ANS determinedly targeted all of its 700+ workforce, with 380 “super users”, 18 “champions” and numerous workshops to ensure no-one was left behind. It reckons it has returned 13 days per year for employees by eliminating “digital drudgery” with a 14x RoI. And, having started with itself, ANS is now following the same plan when rolling it out to customers such as Manchester City Council.
Infosys Limited: OmniHub Cloud Migration Program
Infosys Limited’s OmniHub Cloud Migration Program had one core task: to modernise the commerce platform of a European retailer that handled millions of orders each year. This meant a migration of legacy applications, tools, databases and platforms to AWS, to give customers a better experience and make it easier for the retailer to scale operations. Migrations such as this are fraught with risk, but the outcome is not only a slam-dunk result for this customer but a blueprint for other enterprise-scale retailers looking to migrate to a more flexible platform.
Sigmoid: Streamvector Technology Pvt Ltd
What’s most impressive about this project is its sheer scale. The customer, a Fortune 50 food and beverage corporation, operated across 22 Latin American markets, but had no way to consistently measure its marketing and promotional spends – and bear in mind that its budget was over $1 billion. A fragmented view slowed down decision making and made it hard to track RoI. Sigmoid assessed every aspect of the company’s business in LATAM and created a multi-year roadmap with one ultimate goal: a web-based budget management platform that gave its client a single source of truth. So far it has been rolled out to 8 of the markets with a 9% RoI improvement.
SNP UK (SAP S/4HANA migration for Diageo)
Diageo’s Transformation Director isn’t exaggerating when describing this as “the most ambitious transformation Diego has ever undertaken”. This four-year project, for the company behind Guinness, Bailey’s, Johnnie Walker and around 200 others, spanned 1280 countries and 900 logistics partners. The project’s goal was to migrate to S/4HANA, SAP’s next-generation ERP, and align hundreds of processes in the process. While the migration took four years to plan, it was executed in 72 hours with no disruption to the business.
Valiantys (The Automobile Association (AA) digital transformation)
The AA was facing a problem typical for any long-lived organisation: fragmented systems and processes, created over decades, and multiple platforms to assess them. Visibility needed to be improved: its teams demanded it. Together with Valiantys, phase one of the digital transformation project has introduced a “single front door” for making requests, eliminating the shadow channels that came before it, and has already retired more than 100,000 inactive work items. The result is a cleaner, healthier platform that makes it easier for new joiners (through Atlassian Guard and Entra ID) and more consistency – both for workers and customers.
