Logitech has announced two Rally AI Cameras to blend in with your boardroom whilst adding a sprinkling of Hollywood glamour through movie-like framing.
The Rally AI Camera will cost $2,499/โฌ2,499 when it goes on sale in the summer, while the Rally AI Camera Pro costs $2,999/โฌ2,999 and should be available from the spring. We don’t yet have UK pricing for either camera.
“Rally AI Cameras are designed to power the hybrid-first office, where the tech fades into the background to let the digital and physical worlds blend,” said Henry Levak, VP of Product, Logitech for Business.
โFrom small walls to town halls, they provide a cinematic experience for meeting attendees while quietly solving problems that IT managers, Facilities teams, and Workplace Experience professionals face every day.โ
And the press release goes further, declaring that the cameras can deliver a “multiple camera view for engaging interactions that feel more like a Hollywood movie than a business meeting”.

The big difference between the two systems is the optical PTZ (pan/tilt/zoom) camera that sits atop the Rally AI Camera Pro. This brings a 5x optical zoom into play (15x in combination with the 3x digital zoom) and with it the promise of a multi-camera stream.
Logitech imagines the Rally AI Camera Pro as being better suited to “larger, complex works spaces”. Certainly the optical zoom capability will make a difference, but we should point out that it has an 8MP resolution versus the 20MP of the main camera. Due to the optical zoom, this shouldn’t have too big an effect on image quality.
We will wait until we see the cameras in action before judging this, but it’s good news that both include a 1in sensor. That’s quite large for a webcam, which should mean the Rally AI Cameras can cope in darker conditions (the bigger the sensor, the better it tends to perform in low-light situations).
The promised Hollywood-style framing is handled on-camera using Logitech’s own AI-based RightSight 2 technology. To quote Logitech’s press release, this “automatically frames groups, individuals, and speakers for more productive, person-to-person interactions”. Again, we shall see!

Easier for IT teams?

Logitech’s final promise is that the Rally AI Camera will be a cinch for IT teams to fit and manage. For a start, it comes with a wall-mounting option (a first for Logitech).
“Set up video quickly with USB or a single category cable using the optional Rally AI Camera Extension Kit,” Logitech’s press release states, without mentioning how much the Rally AI Camera Extension Kit will cost. We’re going to guess around $600 based on previous Logitech extension kits.
“Integrate with your preferred conference audio system, like Rally Plus, or a pro audio system,” Logitech continues. “Connect the cameras to WiFi or Ethernet for Logitech Sync-enabled network management, where remote deployment, updates, and troubleshooting are just a click away.”
The cameras come in graphite and off-white and will be on sale from Logitech’s website and authorised resellers. We look forward to watching “Boardroom: The Movie” at some point in 2027.
