Acumatica has announced the general availability of its cloud ERP, 2026 R1, to strengthen supply chain management for manufacturers, distributors and retailers.
According to the cloud ERP vendor for SMBs, 2026 R1 will deliver AI-powered workflow enhancements that can help businesses respond faster to demand shifts, particularly in increasingly volatile markets, streamline fulfillment, and enhance profitability control.
“Agility has become not only a competitive advantage, but also a business necessity,” said Debbie Baldwin, Acumatica Product Management Director.
“Manufacturing, distribution and retail leaders need smarter execution across ordering, fulfilment and profitability management. With 2026 R1, we’re delivering intelligent capabilities that help customers adapt quickly and operate with greater precision.”
Through the general availability, customers will have access to AI Studio, a set of new tools to help customers and partners configure, apply and deploy AI workflows. Users will also have experimental access to Acumatica’s AI Assistant ahead of its general availability later this year.
Acumatica 2026 R1 enhancements
During Day 2 of its Summit 2026 keynote, the company also previewed other key product enhancements of the new release that it touted aligned with its five strategic product pillars: futureproofing, adaptability, industry specificity, user experience and AI-first innovation.
One of those enhancements is an out-of-the-box AI-powered reporting system that uses AI to proactively detect anomalies so teams can quickly act on any changes that are needed.
Another is the introduction of AI agents and AI-assisted workflows that streamline self-service and reduce manual effort. They should also improve response times across customer service, sales and operations.
“We’re building AI directly into our existing workflows, including at the industry level. We’re leveraging the power of our cloud to integrate rapidly changing AI capabilities, bringing them to you,” said Acumatica CEO John Case.
“We’re doing all of this while maintaining our foundational principles of customer data ownership and data control.”
