Workday and Strada expand partnership with AI-powered payroll solution
Workday, together with Strada, have launched Workday Payroll provided by Strada, an AI-powered HR and payroll solution designed to give organisations a single view into their finance, HR and payroll data.
The solution, which is globally available to Workday Human Capital Management customers, will enable organisations to use AI to analyse and interpret HR and payroll data to produce predictive insights, anticipate trends and make informed data-driven decisions.
According to Workday, organisations can also customise the level of payroll services to a country’s local regulations and streamline compliance support across regions.
The release of Workday Payroll provided by Strada builds on the existing relationship between the two companies.
“By expanding our long-standing partnership with Strada, we are making it possible for more organisations across the globe to experience the power of a unified HR and payroll solution,” said Workday Global Partners Senior Vice President Matthew Brandt.
“Bringing these critical functions together – with AI at the core – enables Workday customers to make better, more informed decisions to drive their workforces and businesses forward.”
Self-service access to payroll info within Workday
Workday added using the new solution, organisations can give employees self-service access to their payroll data within Workday, including tax withholdings, pay slips and employee demographics.
“As global organisations face evolving payroll challenges – shifting regulations across geographies, increasingly distributed workforces, and changing employee expectations – the need for an agile and comprehensive payroll solution is critical to business success,” said Strada’s Head of Payroll and Professional Services, Luca Saracino.
Workday separately announced a unified global payroll solution called Global Payroll Connect. It touted that it can “seamlessly connect with payroll providers – via pre-built API integrations – to deliver an end-to-end global payroll experience all within Workday”.
As part of the expanded partnership, Strada is one of the early adopter partners using Global Payroll Connect.
“This latest milestone with Workday further deepens our long-standing relationship, enabling us to deliver our fully integrated HR and payroll solution to even more customers worldwide,” Saracino said.
Global Payroll Connect is expected to be available to Workday customers and partners in October 2024.
