Unbounce
About Unbounce
Unbounce is a landing page builder and conversion platform that allows marketers to create and test custom landing pages, pop-ups, and sticky bars without the need for IT or design resources. It offers a drag-and-drop interface that allows users to create and customize landing pages quickly and easily.
The primary goal of Unbounce is to increase conversion rates for businesses by creating landing pages that are tailored to specific campaigns and audiences. It provides features such as A/B testing, real-time analytics, and lead generation forms to help businesses optimize their marketing campaigns and drive more conversions.
In addition, Unbounce integrates with a variety of marketing tools such as email marketing platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools, to help businesses streamline their marketing efforts and improve their ROI.
Company mission statement and goals
Unbounce’s purpose is to help people and businesses grow in a smarter way: methodically, sustainably, and ethically. It aspires to provide the world with better marketing so that everyone has the ability to create something special. The platform helps small businesses and individuals thrive within a competitive landscape by equipping them with easy-to-use landing page tools.
Origin story
Unbounce was founded in 2009 by Rick Perreault, Oli Gardner, Jason Murphy, Carl Schmidt, and Justin Stacey. This group of individuals had one thing in common: frustration with landing pages. At the time, creating a landing page was expensive, time-consuming and resource intensive. Rick Perreault sought out a team that could bring about change. The company was founded in an apartment with Rick Perrault bootstrapping it in the beginning until it grew into what it is today.
Unbounce Offering
Products and services overview
The platform offers two distinct landing page builders:
- Classic Builder is the original drag-and-drop page builder with advanced coding and customization options.
- Smart Builder is designed for individuals with knowledge of coding; it provides data-backed recommendations.
Here are some of the features included in both page builders that are worth knowing about:
- Landing Page Builder: allows users to create and customize landing pages without the need for coding skills. The landing page builder includes a drag-and-drop interface and a library of customizable templates.
- Conversion Intelligence: Unbounce’s Conversion Intelligence platform uses AI and machine learning to provide personalized recommendations for improving website conversion rates. The platform analyzes visitor behavior and characteristics to determine the most effective changes that can be made to improve conversions.
- Smart Traffic: automatically route visitors to the landing page variant that is most likely to convert them, based on their individual characteristics and behaviour. This helps to maximize conversion rates and improve overall marketing performance.
- Dynamic Text Replacement: allows users to dynamically replace text on their landing pages based on search terms or other variables. This helps to create a more personalized and relevant experience for visitors, which can improve conversions.
- A/B Testing: allows users to test different variations of their landing pages and measure the impact on conversion rates, helping to optimize performance over time.
