PwC standardises finance processing with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP

PwC has expanded its adoption of Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) across its global network of firms, standardising finance operations and embedding AI to streamline reporting, tighten financial controls and align planning across the business.

The multinational professional services firm said it will use Oracle Cloud ERP to replace legacy systems, as part of PwCโ€™s broader strategy to modernise finance and improve transparency and efficiency across its business.

โ€œBy standardising our finance operations on Oracle Cloud ERP and deploying new embedded generative and agentic AI capabilities, weโ€™re able to simplify reporting, strengthen financial controls, and gain faster insights across our network,โ€ said Neil Wilson, PwC Partner who is jointly leading ERP internal deployments.

โ€œDelivering our own transformation also adds to the experience that we can bring to clients who are looking to modernize their finance functions.โ€

PwC is leveraging Oracleโ€™s embedded predictive, generative and agentic AI to increase productivity, reduce costs, improve financial controls, align financial and operational planning, and streamline global reporting. The firm is already using Oracle Cloud ERPโ€™s document IO agent and AI-powered narrative reporting tools to automate document handling across end-to-end financial processes, helping to speed up financial insights.

PwC and Oracle partnership keeps deepening

The pair also announced they are jointly developing new tools, accelerators and methodologies to help clients achieve similar benefits. The collaboration will combine PwCโ€™s experience as a global Oracle Cloud ERP customer with Oracleโ€™s AI technology, including predictive, generative and agentic AI, to deliver โ€œsmarter, faster finance transformationโ€.

โ€œProfessional services organisations need fast, accurate, touchless processes to optimize resource allocation and ensure projects are delivered on-time and under budget,โ€ said Rondy Ng, Oracle Applications Development Executive Vice President.

โ€œWith Oracle Cloud ERP, PwC has been able to standardise global processes on a single cloud platform and embrace the latest innovations in predictive, generative, and agentic AI.โ€

Oracle Cloud ERP is used by more than 11,000 organisations across industries and geographies. Oracle said they will gain access to a holistic suite of finance and operations capabilities, from AI-powered forecasting to procurement, risk management and supply chain, designed to enable faster, data-driven decision-making.
