PwC has gone live with SAP Cloud ERP across 19 countries, connecting more than 10,000 of its professionals on a single platform.
The project, which SAP claims is one of the largest global ERP transformations, replaces PwCโs legacy SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) system and a fragmented mix of SAP and third-party software. SAP said the move create helps PwC create a more agile, scalable, and standardised environment to support the firmโs global operations.
According to SAP, these tools will enhance PwC’s finance and project operations, such as project billing, revenue recognition, accounting and treasury, while reducing complexity and improving self-service capabilities for employees. PwC will also continue to use SAPโs AI-powered copilot Joule and Business AI to drive further innovation.
โMoving to SAP Cloud ERP is enabling greater connectivity across our firm, streamlining operations and equipping our people with tools and insights to better serve our clients,โ said PwC US Chief Financial Officer Colin Wittmer.
โOur firmโs collaboration with SAP was critical to supporting this implementation as one of the largest ever completed.โ

โBy leveraging SAPโs native capabilities, industry-leading practices and a fit-to-standard approach, we have unlocked greater automation and efficiency; reduced complexity; and enabled AI-driven insights, agentic AI innovations and advanced analytics, all while maintaining standardization as a core principle,โ he said.
โSuccessfully completing this transformation within a highly complex ecosystem and operating our business from day one of the SAP Cloud ERP launch underscores the strength of our relationship and execution.โ
SAPโs Thomas Saueressig, Executive Board Member for Customer Services and Delivery, claimed that PwCโs rollout demonstrates the scale and impact of cloud ERP.
โPwCโs successful go-live is a testament to the power of SAP Cloud ERP and SAP Business Suite to drive large-scale transformation powered by SAP Business AI,โ he said.
Off the back of this transformation, PwCโs SAP managed services team plans to support the solution by working with SAP to explore future enhancements in data management and analytics with the SAP Business Data Cloud solution.
