Oracle NetSuite Founder Evan Goldberg introduced several new AI tools at Oracle NetSuite SuiteConnect held in London yesterday. They come almost exactly six months since Goldberg announced NetSuite Next, its AI-focused evolution, at SuiteWorld in Las Vegas.
Soon after the news came that NetSuite Next would also feature a Dark Mode – “now you can use NetSuite at night” joked Goldberg on-stage – the company founder revealed the new features in the existing product.
“You don’t have to just wait for NetSuite Next to start experiencing the benefits of AI for your business,” said Goldberg. “As part of revolutionising NetSuite for the AI age, we’re introducing powerful new AI functionality across the suite, and that functionality is not just AI for AI’s sake.
“It delivers real value to your business in three key ways. The first of those is automation, eliminating those repetitive, time-consuming tasks and [giving] you time back. Insight to surface the information that matters, so you can decide how to use that regained time. And then the agility to help you adapt and be prepared for anything.”
These tools come from additions to the NetSuite AI Connector Service, support for the NetSuite Model Context Protocol (MCP) Apps extension and expanded support for NetSuite Analytics Warehouse.
Automation as an AI example for today

To illustrate automation, Goldberg gave the example of helping a finance team during the month-end or quarter-end close. “Our vision is an autonomous close where AI agents help keep your financials continuously up to date, and you can achieve this zero day close, not through extra human effort, but by putting AI to work for you all day, every day,” said Goldberg.
“Now, at the heart of this is NetSuite Exception Management. It uses AI to continuously scan your financial data and proactively flag anomalies. It then recommends corrective actions.”
Together with NetSuite Intelligent Close Manager – an “AI-powered command centre with complete visibility in everything from task-completion status to net-income impact” – this should make it easy for finance teams to see where they should focus their efforts.
“What makes this automation different?” asked Goldberg, rhetorically. “It’s not a single AI feature working in isolation. Autonomous Close uses a network of AI agents operating together inside one system, sharing the same data context and financial rules. That connected intelligence enables not just point improvements, but a totally different close experience.”
NetSuite Next availability
We know that some of the company’s US customers are already trialling NetSuite Next, which is in line with the October 2025 announcement that it would go into preview within six months and be fully rolled out within a year.
Goldberg also confirmed that NetSuite Next would arrive in preview for UK customers in less than six months with full rollout within a year. This means there is roughly a five-month delay compared to US customers.
“It’s a finance system and we take that responsibility very seriously,” Craig Sullivan, GVP Product Management, told TechFinitive at SuiteConnect. “So we help our customers with their compliance needs, their regulatory needs. We want to make sure – and we’re maybe being overcautious, but I’d rather do that than than jump – that [this is first all squared away] for the US companies”.
Once that work is done, NetSuite will move its focus to the UK. We also asked NetSuite if it had any news on the rollout for NetSuite Next in countries where English wasn’t the main language.
