Intel announces 32GB Arc Pro B70 graphics card to rival Nvidia RTX Pro 4000 Blackwell

Intel has Nvidia’s RTX Pro 4000 graphics card in its sights with the 32GB Intel Arc Pro B70, announced today. Its key advantages: 32GB of memory versus 24GB for its rival, and that it will undercut it on price: around $1,000 versus around $1,600.

Intel also announced the Intel Arc Pro B65 card. This will still include 32GB of vRAM but only feature s20 Xe cores compared to 32 for the B70.

“The Arc Pro B70 and B65 deliver high-end workstation graphics performance at an incredible value,” said Anil Nanduri, head of Intel’s pro graphics division, at the Intel Pro Day 2026 in New York.

“These new Arc Pro GPUs have… great AI performance with up to 367 AI TOPS, more Xe cores, more VRAM, more AI compute performance with ECC memory support. And all of this starting at a price point of around $1,000 for the Intel-branded Arc Pro B70 GPUs.”

Both cards will be sold by third-party graphics card manufacturers, with the Intel Arc Pro B70 also available as an Intel-branded card.

Performance of the Intel Arc B70 graphics card

Intel believes that the Arc B70 graphics offers a distinct advantage over the Nvidia RTX Pro 4000 for AI inference tasks in particular. Much of this stems from its 32GB of vRAM compared to 24GB for Nvidia’s card.

“Our latest Arc Pro GPUs are ready to handle the graphics needs of all the users for the workstations market,” said Nanduri. “As far as the performance with the 367 peak TOPS for AI workloads, the Arc Pro B70 gives users a powerful new tool for addressing their growing AI inference needs.”

This launch came against a backdrop of Intel’s argument – and it isn’t alone in this – that the world is shifting from cloud AI to hybrid AI. That is, a mix of cloud AI and local AI, with cloud offering scale but local delivering privacy and lower costs per token.

Intel chose not to compare its B70 or B65 directly against Nvidia’s RTX Pro 4000 cards in professional software, instead claiming that it was 69% faster than the previous-generation Intel Arc Pro B60 across a range of creative apps. See the results below.

Availability of the Intel Arc Pro B70 and Arc Pro B65 cards

Intel-branded Arc Pro B70 cards will go on sale immediately. You can also buy them from its partners ARKN, ASRock, Gunnir, Maxsun, and Sparkle, with a suggested starting price of $949.

Intel says the Intel Arc Pro B65 cards will be available from mid-April2026. As mentioned, these will only be available through its board partners. “Intel Arc Pro B65 pricing will vary based on final model configurations,” it stated.

Intel Xeon 600 processors for workstation now on sale

At the same event, Intel announced that its Xeon 600 processors for workstation are now available to buy from retail. Their suggested price ranges from $499 to $7,699.
