Endava has scored the contract to help the Romanian government’s Authority for Digitalisation of Romania (ADR) migrate its apps to the government’s private cloud.
Under the agreement, Endava will help the Romanian government migrate at least 30 digital-service apps across ministries and agencies into a consolidated, government-managed cloud environment.
“Romania is hugely significant to Endava and this represents a true ‘first of a kind’ opportunity to work with the Romanian Government at this scale,” said Endava CTO Matt Cloke. “We hope this will lead to a long-term relationship, where we can continue to support both the government and the people of Romania.”
He added: ”We also believe this will set a precedent for successful cooperation with administrations across all our locations, reinforcing our commitment to supporting communities wherever we operate.”
As part of the partnership, Endava Romania will design and architect the private cloud infrastructure to be implemented in four national data centres located in Bucharest, Brașov, Sibiu and Timiș. The company will also implement security, governance, and compliance frameworks and provide ongoing managed services support.
The project is part of Romania’s implementation of a government cloud infrastructure. Its aim: to establish a single and secure digital ecosystem for public administration, where digital services will be hosted.
This latest news comes on the back of Endava announcing the extension of its long-term partnership with MSPS Groep.
The renewed partnership will see Endava continue to work across MSPS’s brands. This includes powering Infomedics’ healthcare administration services in the Netherlands, which it has been doing for the last eight years. Specifically, the pair have worked together to help healthcare providers and patients manage treatments, insurance and payments through co-developed platforms, PIEN and CRoV.
Endava said it will also continue to work with Vertimart to deliver a new mobile app.
