Hot-storage company Wasabi has expanded its EMEA Partner Programme to help its customers embrace AI workloads more quickly. And to give new opportunities to its partners, with the promise of “robust partner margins to ensure profitability in competitive markets”.
โEurope is entering a new era of data growth as AI projects mature, and our partners are on the front line of that transformation,โ said Kevin Dunn, VP and General Manager EMEA at Wasabi Technologies.
โOur evolved partnerย programmeย puts simplicity, profitability and scalability at the core – whetherย itโs helpingย customers dissolve data silos to successfully run AI models, manage operational resilience, or modernise backup.”
He added: “Weโreย giving partners not just the technology, but the training, incentives, and margin to thrive in this fast-moving market.โย
This builds on its Wasabi Systems Integrator Program, which it announced earlier this month.
What partners can expect from Wasabi
The main aim of the Wasabi Systems Integrator Program is to provide both technical tools and commercialย assistance. That means help with marketing materials, along with the necessary training to bring sales teams up to speed.
Explicitly, Wasabi breaks this into five bullet points:
- Bespoke marketing, technical enablement materials to meet customer demands
- New AI-ready storage solutions built for performance-intensive workloads
- Robust partner margins to ensure profitability in competitive markets
- Hands-on enablement and Wasabi Certifications for sales and technical teams
- Co-marketing, dedicated account support and competitive incentives to accelerate growth
“Since the beginning of our partnership with Wasabi, we have seen an expansion of our customer base across Germany,” said Erikย Sterck, Head of DACH atย Erik Sterck GmbH. “Wasabi enables us to offer reliable, secure and transparent cloud storage solutions that meet the highest standards of data sovereignty and compliance.”
And Sterck isn’t alone in singing Wasabit’s praises. โSince partnering with Wasabi in 2023, weโve [expanded] our storage capacity by 34x,” said Maggie Scullion, CEO atย Waterstons. “Our revenue from Wasabi has grown nearly 200%, and with new solutions like Wasabi Cloud NAS on the horizon, we see huge opportunity to continue scaling and delivering even greater value for our clients.โ
Anthony Bucknor, Head of Data Centre and Cloud Services at Autodata, added:โฏ โWasabi gives us and our clients something the hyperscalers canโt match: true control over where data resides, how it moves, and how itโs accessed. Data sovereignty and portability are critical in todayโs environment, and with Wasabi we can guarantee compliance without sacrificing performance or cost-efficiency.
“Add in predictable monthly billing with no vendor lock-in, and weโre able to deliver a storage solution thatโs as flexible as it is secure – exactly what our customers demand in a multi-cloud, AI-driven world.โ
Ultimately, however, it’s organisations based in EMEA that should benefit from the expanded partner program, as it should be even easier and quicker to integrate AI workloads into their offerings.
