Amazon Business hits $60 billion in annual revenue
Amazon has reported that Amazon Business has reached US$60 billion in annualised gross sales in the second quarter of 2026.
The company attributed the growth to helping over 11 million organisations worldwide โsimplify their business buyingโ. In the first half of this year alone, more than 1.8 million new organisations joined Amazon Business, according to Amazon.
Amazon explained some of the ways in which it is helping business customers. This included introducing AI-powered tools, such as Amazon Business Assistant to answer questions in real-time. This also offers suggestions on how to buy more efficiently based on past purchases. Then there’s Saving Insights, which suggests how a business can save money based on spending habits.ย ย ย
The company also rolled out dedicated fleets of delivery trucks in 13 states across the US for organisations. The trucks offer scheduled delivery windows, palletised bulk and parcel delivery, andโฏconsolidatedโฏdrop-offs.
Enhancing Prime Business membership
It also introduced additional benefits to its Prime Business membership, such as Amazon Quick. This connects to the tools and data people already use for work, learns what matters, and takes personalised actions. Actions such as scheduling meetings, building deliverables and creating dashboards.ย

Amazon Business was launched in the US in 2015. Since then, the organisation has expanded to service businesses in 11 countries, including 97 of the Fortune 100 companies. Those organisations includeย Citi, United Service Organizations (USO), Marriott International and Carnival Corporation.
